x. out ; i’m vaguely aware of cid raines & his character. i played xiii a long time ago, but i’m afraid the details escape me. as for what reminds me of him, his precarious situation .. . this song comes to mind. not so much the beat, but the lyrics are striking.

The male gives a slight sway from her nudge, but then smiles back at her, a laugh leaving his lips. “Well… more than my pride will allow me to admit, but yes. I did, Fang. More than you could ever imagine.”

Her grin could only grow, as she couldn't help but chuckle along with him. “I’m sure I could imagine it, given enough time--- but no real need to waste effort on that. I’ll take what I can get as is, for now.”
