Butterflies Fly Away is a modern high school au that is omegaverse. Levi is an alpha and he’s 17 and a high school senior. Eren is an omega and he’s 16 and a junior at a separate high school for omegas.
Levi’s been living with his uncle Kenny for a while, and they had been getting along fine. Kenny is chill, Levi is a punk kid that gives no shits... but then Kenny wants them to move in with his girlfriend - Eren’s aunt and guardian. Levi’s not happy about it at all and braces himself to hate this cheerleader omega that he’s going to have to share a bathroom with and drive to school and his dance classes.
Then, he actually meets Eren and not only is he beautiful, welcoming and intriguing (not to mention playful) - it turns out they also have a lot in common, both being abandoned by their fathers and losing their mothers as children.
Eren’s aunt is absolutely against Eren dating alphas, so Levi tries to keep his thoughts toward Eren platonic and innocent - but fails miserably.
His instincts and teenage alpha hormones kick in and suddenly, he can’t think about anything but Eren and just how perfect a mate he’d be.
It’s a dangerous situation and Levi knows he’s playing with fire, but after nuzzling behind Eren’s cute little ear a few times, he just stops caring...
