no because i love the broccoli arc in mob psycho. its literally so fire and good?? i mean it has everything. it is the only mob psycho arc (other than mogami) that has ever genuinely freaked me out. mogami was just sad, but the divine tree was so unsettling and uncomfortable. the creepiness of “psycho helmet”, mezato’s threatening, not-quite-right smile that resembles LOL. psycho helmet’s looming shadow in teru’s apartment?? everyone slowly being brainwashed?? losing sense of the things around you?? oh my gosh…thats terrifying. cults are so scary omfg.

teru also has like a badass time in this one…love that b lond twink

one of my favourite mp100 characters . he was so silly goofy and weird and i think he definitely needed this arc to wrap his character development up and to let him fall back into his old ways a little bit. its great to see…his struggle to be seen as a small spirit who wants to be remembered is so real.

ALSO a great time for terumob if you like it..i mean the shopping scene was pretty gay and a great demonstration of teru’s ASS fashion sense.

the monkey shirt is genuinely hilarious i laugh everytime they show it and theres that sound effect..i CANNOT. its such a bizarre arc and its goofy but serious in the best way??? like mob psycho is so fun because even when it’s sad its not always going to be so serious and thats its core. it has fun with the characters and twisting character archetypes and roles in the narrative!!

anyways this arc is so valid for the point that your real friends are the ones who are honest. the fact that a major part of the resolution was dimple going “WHO dressed you in that bro 😭” and mob being humbled is FANTASTIC. i love dimple and this is his arc and im so happy!!!!! AHHHH DIVINE TREE ARC MY BELOVED 💕💕

my only gripe with it is mob’s dub VA for s3 and NOT ENOUGH MEZATO. SHE STARTING THIS FREAKING CULT PUT SOME RESPECT ON HER NAME!! as much as i love dimple, an arc exploring mezato’s character would be sooo interesting :D

Everyone else continues to be completely unaware, fallen for the mass hypnosis. Filled with guilt, shame, and self-betrayal, he seeks to right his wrongs. If only he knew how.
