I'm curious; why has your design for FN changed pretty drastically since you first drew her? (you don't have to post this) Just wondering if maybe you wanted to change her up and what that process was like.

When I drew Nancy first I never thought that I would ever draw her again, that’s probably why she ended up being a quite stereotype mermaid with blonde hair and a seashell bra and stuff and that’s also why she is not as stylized as Potato John for example. (He also looked quite different and horrifying in the beginning)

Now that I’m drawing her more often I’m playing around a little with her design. Also, I got some critique that she resembles Kate Beatons mermaids a lot. I absolutely adore Kate Beaton and hearing that was quite exciting for my inner fangirl, but it would be unreasonable not to listen to critique. Critique is great! So in conclusion, I’m trying my best to make her the best mermaid she can be and I hope that I will find a fitting design for her one day. I hope that it’s not too confusing for everyone! (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡

Oh, and she go the hoop earrings because when I was in middle school the social status of a girl was measured by the calibre of her hoop earrings. We all tried to outdo each other by buying bigger and bigger ones and bending them and everything. It stopped when one girl’s enourmous hoops got caught in her jacket and it bled like everywhere. That girl was hardcore and we all silently accepted that we would never be as cool as her.

I do! But I lost the auction. I lost all f them that I bid on actually. 

I was meaning in RL, there are only about 10 or so that I can put a face to. And some I can't remember the right name of te blog so I don't know that I know them til they post a selfie.

Mostly I'm so worries tat I'll come across as clingy that I don't talk to the people that I don't know.
