How would they react to a 3 AM phone call from the other?

Ethan would already be up because he's a freak who likes to workout before going early into work. He'd still answer, completely deadpan, “You better be dying to call at this ungodly hour.”

Tobias, on the other hand, MIGHT not answer. Maybe he will. It just depends if the ringtone wakes him up. Ethan says, “I could've been dying” when confronting him. Tobias replies, “Then the number you want to dial is 911.”

It's all joking, though. They'd be there for each other in a heartbeat.

Would they have gotten along as kids?

Absolutely. I HC they come from similar backgrounds (working class with an absent parent). Plus they were both huge nerds with a rebellious side so they'd definitely bond.

1. Who’s more ticklish?

SCHMIDT SCHMIDT SHMIDT! I’m a little biased cause he’s my fave but like. C’mon. He’s so damn sassy, snarky & funny he just has the bubbly personality of someone crazy ticklish. & look at that dazzling smile! How can he NOT be devastatingly ticklish?

2. What kind of tickles are they sensitive to?

Rough tickles work best on both Nick & Schmidt. Softer ones make Nick all twitchy & giggly & a little whiny & they make Schmidt turn into a happy puddle of goo (especially if it’s from a pretty lady like Cece)

3. Which role (lee/ler) does each of them hold?

Neither of them are capable of holding the braincell for more than 10 minutes so it just makes sense that they’re both switches. Their mood swings also heavily contribute to their alignment cause these dudes can flip on a dime. But Nick just feels more like a ler, ya know? His whole personality & sarcasm & the l mean streak he has… grade A ler material. Schmidt is more of the lee spectrum cause he’s bratty & likes to provoke people, but he has a softer side in general. & when it comes down to it, Schmidt is just a little intimidated cause Nick knows all his worst spots & is a lot more merciless than Schmidt

4. How did they discover each others’ ticklishness?

Nick found out that Schmidt was ticklish when they were rooming together in college. He liked to tease him a lot & he found out when he was jokingly “choking” him when he pissed him off. It took Schmidt a little longer cause he didn’t even try for revenge until he gained more self confidence. But it was a full on sneak attack that came with no warning & caught Nick completely off guard

5. Who’s more likely to instigate a tickle fight?

Nick us so damn confrontational form I reason. Need I remind you of the whole cookie incident? Man makes a mountain out of a mole hill & finds any reason to tickle the shit out of his friends. He even makes up reasons to start shit

6. How often do they tickle each other?

Do you know how chaotic the loft is? That’s an every day occurrence son!

7. Who’s the least likely to ask for tickles?

They are equally matched in their stubborn ways & neither of them are immune to toxic masculinity so they refuse to ask for it. But being such good friends, they can pick up on each other’s moods. But even tho they won’t outright ask for it, they kind of have a code. If they know the other one wants to get wrecked they will indulge them: but not before teasing them to hell & back

Willa steals them off of Ivy’s plate. Ivy doesn’t really mind it, but occasionally she’ll steal some from Willa’s plate.

They both do, and they both start laughing about it and say “really? You had the same idea as me?”

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail?

They’d probably end up in jail together, but it’s more likely that Ivy would have to bail Willa out for losing her temper on someone.

Ivy. Willa’s not very open, but Ivy can read her like a book sometimes. Willa considers Ivy’s advice to be some of the best she’s ever gotten.

They both do, but neither of them will rat each other out to the rest of the group.

Willa, but a race to the top bunk ensues and Willa will playfully shove Ivy off of the ladder.

Ivy starts them usually, and it’s a mix of who wins. They definitely keep a track record of it.

Willa says it to Ivy’s crush. Ivy’s cheeks turn red and Willa’s about to fall off of the bench seat laughing over it.

Sarahi. Because food crazy baby has no control and also because POTATOES! Needless to say, Bill has to share his fries when Sarahi is around and hide if he wants the plate to himself.

NONE. Like I said, honorary brother-sister duo. Bill will straight up answer "We're not a couple" and end it there.

Sarahi is too pure to ever end up in jail, but Bill would have to bail her out of she did end up in there. Sarahi would be so ashamed, she'd literally hide her face until Bill can make her feel better.

Who offers to get rid of the evidence and body whenever the other starts complaining about someone: Jiya. In fairness, it starts as a legitimate question; If Flynn is complaining about someone, Jiya has reason to be worried. But eventually, it becomes her go-to if he has even the slightest complaint. Wyatt ate Flynn's cereal? I can make a body go away. (Flynn is somewhat amused, somewhat proud.)

Who shows up at the other’s house with food and movies when the other is having a bad day: Flynn actually starts this, after Rufus dies. He's trying to back away from Lucy, to give her space, to let her choose Wyatt, if that's what she wants. Suddenly, he finds himself with empty evenings again. When he realizes that Jiya is pulling away from everyone, too, he takes to showing up at her door with food and distractions. (When they save Rufus, he expects these nights to end, but instead, Rufus just joins them with popcorn and sarcastic quips.)

... That got long. MOVING ON.

Who sends the other tons of videos/phone game requests: Jiya. She gets bored while the others are out traveling. In the beginning, she would just spam-text Rufus, and sometimes Lucy, but she eventually adds him to her list.

Who glares at the other til they sit down and eat: This can honestly go either way. Both of them tend to get tunnel vision, or push themselves too hard. They take turns reminding each other to eat.

Who stands behind the other and signals to the person arguing with their friend that if the person hurts their friend then they will hunt the person down: Flynn. Definitely Flynn.

Who starts the war on stealing food from the other: Jiya. Unapologetically. And it isn't really much of a "war," per say. Just her casually stealing his food whenever she feels like it. (Because he is giant, and well-trained, and DANGEROUS, but they are his family. She trusts him completely. She also appreciates the novelty of being able to steal a terrorist's food and suffer little more than a scowl.)

Who comes up with the bad ideas that they will regret in the morning and who stops them/goes with them to keep them from getting into too much trouble: They both have bad ideas they try to talk each other out of, but it goes more like: "Hey, Flynn, I'm going to order pizza." "You haven't slept in 48 hours. We still live in a top-secret bunker." "Oh." / "Jiya, if I murdered Wyatt in his sleep-" "NO." "What if I only murdered him a little?" "FLYNN."
