I'm not the biggest John fan, but boy do fanfic writers know what to do with his character. Like okay, yes, with fanon and everything, I could see him warming up and getting better with the others, and him being a regressor (although incredibly secretive and embarrassed about it) or a CG (although probably VERY confused and maybe a little weirded out at first). And yeah, idk I've warmed up to it lol
