Very random doodle request but Hyde reminds me very much of a cat, so you should doodle him behaving like a cat (knocking glass things off of tables, randomly lying down in people's laps and then getting mad at them three seconds later, sitting at the edge of someone's bed in the middle of the night with glowing eyes... you know. Cat stuff)
While not accurate to my hcs (hes more of a dog guy) Ykw sure!! Why not!!
Why do you think the story of Jekyll and Hyde has been so influential in how even the more positive portrayals of plurality are depicted, and why do a lot of plural people connect to the story, even though according to some people, the story isn't even about plurality?

Hello and thanks for the question!! I’ve to be honest, I don’t really know. I myself am not plural, so I don’t believe I can (at least now since didn’t talk abt it with anyone plural) fully understand how people are plural relate to the story. I do not really know how plurality is portrayed in media (other than split but that one is NOT positive) so I don’t think I can talk about it’s either good or bad influence. Sorry anon, you’d need to ask someone better versed in the topic :,

May I ask which episodes of Frankenhole Jekyll appears in? The show’s been on my radar for a bit, but I dunno if I have the energy to watch the whole thing. I did want to see what Jekyll got up to though…
hHHHELLOOOO!!!!ok ok yes. First hes briefly for like two seconds in s1 ep10 . Second appearance is in s2 ep2 for most of the ep!! Yay!!(plus well the ep has Stevenson in the name so not that surprising). S2 ep3 has him in it but he doesn’t have a major role and the one time he talks he says smh that is very fitting of musical Jekyll and 1931 movie adaptation Jekyll. Anyways also s2 ep7 where he gets to talk in the beginning !! Yay!! Also s2 ep9 but he’s not voiced by himself. Bc everyone is voiced by one guy. He does talk for like half of the episode and is funny. Plus hes in the last ep!! S2 ep10!! Major role!!! Trigger warning for gore tho they rip him apart sorry

hi there! i’ve been writing a critical analysis of the glass scientist for a couple weeks now and i want to ask those who are prominent members in the jekyll and hyde tumblr fandom their thoughts on the glass scientist. im asking you because well, you’ve been pretty vocal on your dislike of tgs
my question to you is: what singular aspect of the glass scientists irks you the most? (story, characters, development, other material etc etc)

HELLO!! THANKS FOR THE QUESTION!! Before I begin talking spoiler warning. Also I should clarify that I have nothing against the comic or ppl who read it itself, those r just my main issues with it
For me, I do believe the aspect that irks me the most is the story. While the way Jekyll’s character has been changed irritates me, I do believe the story isnt really.. interesting?
As in. It feels like it really lacks conflict + unpredictability and if there is conflict, there’s little weight to it. I mean whenever Hyde or Jekyll are in trouble, they always get away with it, which just makes the story feel less meaningful and the ending undeserving.
Adding onto that, I feel like they skip over characters processing stuff(Jekyll’s death, the reveal) and the. Reaction doesn’t rll hit well? Like there’s no long term effects, in the end everything is fine and no one is hurt. Same with the whole nightmares chapter,, Hyde’s cruelty just kind of gets swept under the rug for the sake of his happiness for the lack of better phrasing.Hyde’s character to me, as a whole feels pretty ehhh. It feels like the story can’t decide if it wants him as his own person or a part of Jekyll.
Also I WISH THE STORY DID SMH MORE INTERESTING WITH THE LODGERS OR LUCY OR RACHEAL!! It often feels like their main purpose is to push Jekyll’s development bc. They don’t rll do anything.
Anyways yeah my main issues,, (feel lucky tgat I didn’t talk abt how I feel abt their portrayal of Jekyll in it/j)
