So, we can see, the Invasion corridor, relative to the Homeworlds, is almost closest to the world of Huntress, home of the Smoke Jaguars. Therefore, this, combined with Showers' reign and decisions as ilKhan, provides us with a startling revelation.

The Clan Invasion was a bullpup.
