"I think that art always begins with the hands. The hands of a creator, the hands of an artist, the hands of a designer. And we have Burc's hands with me tonight." "This design is inspired by the iconic Rolling Stone cover with Janet Jackson. Her breasts were supported by her husband, hidden behind her. A gesture I found incredibly tender. Through this piece, I also wanted to express a stance against the blurring of breasts and the puritanism on Instagram and YouTube. Breasts are only sexual if we choose to see them that way; otherwise, they can simply be beautiful. The look is completed by a caryatid skirt, a signature inspired by statues of strong, artistic women, asserting a “hyper-feminine” that is still too often criticized." (x)(x)
