Maybe some people on here adhere to vaguely exaggerated stereotypes about 4s, but there is no stigma lmao. From what I can see 4s are one of the top 5? 3?? ennea types that get the most attention. I posted some stupid one-liner about how great it is to have a 4 fix and it got like what, 70 notes? Ennea 4 has a strong presence here from what I observe- people are often clearly more interested in it than other types. And yeah, soc 4s who care about their image and how people react to them will have their ego pushed by that! So yes? Drag them. 4s get off on being edgy and special and if u give them extra attention based on the core of their Edginess they will enjoy that and possibly even forget to actually self-reflect, self-improve and all. Like it was said already, enneagram tells you that you’re shit- and it also, thankfully, gives you the awareness on it to help you better yourself.

idk if this was supposed to be the thesis of friedan’s book, that “housewifery” just completely dulls you to the point that you become totally phlegmatic about doing anything else, but i just found it so bizarre that all of the “intellectual” women she interviewed who found housework really easy/not stimulating enough had literally nothing else to do with their time except drink, or else stretch housework out so it was like an all-consuming task. i guess i feel like if i were a housewife and got all of my work done early, that would leave me time to do all of the leisure activities i enjoy...read, go for a run/walk, experiment with cooking (which betty totally depreciates--but that’s another rant), go to a movie/play/show/whatever. like what? you really have nothing else to do all day??? my thought is why the hell would you work if you really, honestly didn’t have to/someone else was paying your bills
