OKAY I’m freaking out about Thom coming to my country because in like 2016 Radiohead came to The Netherlands and my dad said he’d buy tickets but he was too late and I was So Disappointed and out of all places AMSTERDAM which is super easy for me to travel to so Imma tell you all my money issues right now.
Tickets are 63,50 (the ones i want at least). I have 9,17 in my bank account right now. Salary will come on April 6th so that’s useless. I DO however have 60,00 saved for a trip to Liverpool I’m gonna make with school, so that I have some money to spend there. I feel like it would definitely be worth taking all of that to buy the ticket but there’s also 10% service taxes (criminal iknow) and then 1,50 on top of that for some reason, which makes the ticket 71,35. Now I still have 12,90 in cash, which I am going to take to the bank tomorrow, which would give me 82,07. Which is enough. BUT I also need to buy an eyebrow pencil. But I feel like that would be okay I’ll just buy a medium priced one.
Now the time that the tickets go on sale. 11 AM local time for me. I have a test at 8:25 AM which will last until 10:05 AM so if I just go home immediately I’ll be on time I think.
Conclusion: I can buy a ticket but I will have to go alone because all my friends are normies. I could ask my dad but I know that he’s about 3000 euros in debt rn and he would still say yes because he feels guilty about a lot of things he did. Also he likes Thom Yorke but I don’t want him to spend money on me, especially when all we ever do is go to concerts and I don’t want to make it seem like I’m only communicating with him because I have no one else to go to a concert with.
Second conclusion: I am definitely going to buy a ticket but I will have to live on the bread line (but then again a 17 year old still living with her mom won’t really find trouble in that, just annoyingly bad quality make up and no new outfits for a while. Also guinea pig food is going to be coming from the grocery stores instead of the pet stores but they’ve had that before they’ll live through it.)
