the kiln has been unloaded!

and it only took about an hour. the kiln gods were very kind! there are a few little chips, some not very visible glaze crawling on one piece and only one kind-of disaster. fingers crossed the mugs pass the boiling water test tomorrow 🤞🏼

I’ll start updating people about their pieces in the next few days. it takes me awhile to note everything down and take so so many pictures and videos lol. plus I will be kinsugi-ing some pieces that broke in the first firing (like, four, I think) so I will be very busy

I think I've stared too long at this piece but I was not aiming for perfection. The other artworks will come soon, I just need to stop making more and more projects while exam period is approaching.

For now I plan to finish the mermay one, portraits and deity versions (hopefully soon).

I also learned of a cool trick to color line art and damn, I love it!
