At seven years old, Vaella Targaryen likes to think that she's gotten rather good at braiding hair. After all, she practices on some of her dolls, and sometimes before bed, her mama will let her practice on her. Vaella likes her mama's hair, loves how it's pink, which is so much more fun than most hair colours. That being said though, she is very fond of the silver-gold streak that she shares with her father, as well as the fiery red of uncle Matarys. He lets her braid his hair sometimes too, sometimes she even puts ribbons in it, and he never seems to mind.
A wide grin broaches the little girl's face as her father sits down before her, eyes crinkling as she grabs her comb. Waiting for him to settle, she hugs around his neck quickly, a giggle escaping her already. "You have to st-stay still, kepa," Vaella grins, unconcerned to let the slight stammer be heard in the presence of her beloved father. There are some who say it, along with her quiet struggle with her letters, makes her simple, though never in the presence of her family, but she doesn't really care. She's happy.
Comb runs carefully through her father's hair, tongue poking out in concentration as she divides his hair just so, then little fingers set to work, weaving in and out. After a few minutes though, she's reaching for one of her ribbons to tie it off. "All d-done!"
