where: alli’s downtown penthouse who: @alli-pellisier
Throwing a hoodie over his t-shirt, Oliver slipped on his sneakers and grabbed his keys from the small dish that sat by his front door. There were some errands that he just denied Landon the privilege of knowing, and one of them happened to involve his future sister-in-law. From the message that Oliver received from her, it seemed that she may have needed help with something at her apartment. He thought about maybe moving some of her items from her space back to Sanem’s home, but he wasn’t entirely sure why he was asked, specifically. The information had been held back a bit, but Oliver obviously was curious to get to know Alli a bit better. Now that Landon and him were... steady. Before leaving the house, Oliver grabbed a bottle of Merlot that sat in his fridge-- just in case it was that kind of emergency.
To: Lan Oliver: I’m leaving for a few hours. If you make your way here, let Cookie out xo will be back
The short drive to her downtown apartment didn’t take him long at all. He parked on the street, paid the meter for the amount of time that he believed that he’d be there, and followed the directions that she had sent him on how to get up to the penthouse in her building. Once he made his way into the elevator, he pressed the button that led up to the top floor of the building; he was alone in it for the moment. He bit his lip as he pulled out his phone to check for any missed messages or calls from Landon. Oliver pulled out his phone to throw a text message to her:
To: Alli Oliver: Hey! I’m on my way up. Hope your street doesn’t tow.
He hoped that this wouldn’t involve a bunch of people; he wanted to get to know Alli a bit better on their own, so his almost ‘urgent’ sounding help was a bit lost on him. Once the doors opened, he stepped out and walked towards the front door labeled with her number, knocking lightly. “Hey, brought this,” His smile widened when she opened the door, “What’s going on?”
