Karolina was lost in the music, she closed her eyes and was twirling and spinning humming along to the beat as she just danced, she safely clutched her drink not wanting to spill it she slowed down to take a long sip till it was empty then proceeded to continue to dance. She felt a good buzz at point, her whole body almost buzzing, she was really letting herself enjoy herself for a change, not even bothered that people could see her, and she might look a bit foolish. She opened her eyes as she felt a light tapping on her shoulder and she spun around to look at the source and she smiled brilliantly at the other "Wow hi, you look amazing has anyone told you that yet tonight? You really really do wow." She laughed lightly still swaying a bit before she remembered that they had tapped her shoulder for a reason and they probably needed something "Oh wait you wanted my attention for something didn't you? Sorry, I just got a bit distracted before you really do look good, this costume really suits you is all. But now I'm focusing on your needs, what were you going to ask me?"

Karolina was pacing her apartment glad her roommate Ryan was out because she was reeling, she had texted her asking when she would be home but she hadn’t answered yet, so instead she reached out to a good friend and let out a sigh of relief as she went to the door opening it looking up at the other “Thank god you’re here I’ve been going crazy all day and am in need of someone to tell me I’m not crazy please.”

Karolina had a long day ever since one of the other dancers in her dance program had a knee injury it seemed to put stress on their whole group, not that it was the other’s fault but honestly their teacher was being more strict on them than usual and their practices had been running long and it was beginning to take it’s toll on her mind and body. She was slowly walking down the hallway feeling her muscles scream as her as she walked out of the practice room and finally out to the parking lot and when she scanned the parking lot she remembered that she had walked here from the University meaning her car wasn’t here, she had completely forgot that she hadn’t drove here. She tossed her bag down before sitting down on the sidewalk, she reached out her phone before calling the person she was last texting, it took them not even two rings to answer and she couldn’t help but smile “Hey I know you probably are at home and all comfy in your bed, but could you possibly come get me? I forgot I walked over to dance practice rehearsal today and I kind of have no way to get home, Because if I tried walking pretty sure my legs would give out on me, I’d really appreciate I’ll make it up to you I promise? Please?”

​Karolina stood outside the venue just taking it in for a moment, everything about this night seemed to be almost magical and it hadn't even begun yet. She took a moment placing her mask on her face tying it around her head adjusting her hair pulling out her purse to make sure she didn't mess up her curls. She closed the compact placing it back in her purse and finally made her way inside, she had grown up always wearing a mask but this felt different almost like a fairy tale. She walked inside looking up at the lights and she could feel the magic in the air almost as she walked around. She saw a line for champagne and she couldn't help herself she wanted to get something to make her maybe not nervous. She stood in line taking a moment to get her id out and she felt her elbow with someone beside her. She instantly felt guilty even if the other hadn't necessarily been hurt by this action per-se. She looked at the very obviously stunning woman and she knew if her mask wasn't hiding her face her cheeks would be turning red "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump you, can I make it up to you somehow? I really do feel bad you didn't deserve that." She knew she was rambling but it sometimes happened when she was around such a pretty lady.
