Fred raised his eyebrows when he opened his door to his flat to see Roxanne. He had talked to her on the phone earlier to make sure she was alright. He had been running around, checking on Alice, making food for Frank, being there for Ronnie, all while not trying to pass out again after fainting during the St. Mungo’s attack. If Fred was being honest with himself, he was doing everything to avoid the feelings that he felt when he realized the consequences of his actions, and that he truly wasn’t an auror anymore. He knew Roxanne was fine, and he stressed to her that he was good. Also if Fred was being honest, he knew that it would be Roxanne to be the one he just absolutely lost it with, he was never very good at lying or keeping the truth from his sister. “Dammit, did Victoire tell you I fainted? Roxanne, I swear to God I’m fine.”

“I’m sure there’s one more egg. Hidden somewhere around this direction.” His emotions were a little all over the place, a mixture of nervousness and excitement fluttering in the pit of his stomach as Declan tried to lead her in the right direction.

​As Roxanne was bandaging his wound she had just spent the last thirty minutes cleaning, she was attempting to be angry, she really was, but honestly she couldn’t be mad, she was way more concerned that he had been hurt. When she finished up she let out a sigh, her hands a bit shaky now that the situation was sinking in, that this could have ended differently. She closed her eyes trying to hold herself together, she wasn’t going to cry right now “Rocky…..” she took this moment to open her eyes and take off her gloves tossing them aside, her hand going to instantly caress his face, her eyes tracing over his face “You scared me so much you know that? When I got the call from Theo and she said you had been shot…..my mind went to the worst possible situation, I-I….I thought I was going to lose you.” She could feel her eyes tearing up a bit, because she knew this life was dangerous, but it didn’t make her worry any less, it made her worry even more “I don’t even know how I held myself together, you….have to be more careful, please, I just….need you to promise for me you will stay alive.” She knew that was a lot to ask, in his line of work people died every day, but God she didn’t want Rocky to be one of those people “I know it’s silly and irrational of me to ask just…please? promise me you’ll be more careful”

“Well well well, looky what we have here; Roxy Weasley. It’s been a while.” Theo commented as he spotted the woman for the first time in what felt like forever. “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.”

“Listen,” desperation wasn’t a good look on Roxanne, but she was running out of options here. The paparazzi were hounding her, keeping her barred from her own apartment upstairs. So she’d snuck into a dimmed down cafe, only to find that she wasn’t alone. “I know you’re already closed for the night, and I-- I feel like shit for asking this. Please don’t kick me out. There’s papz out there and I just-- I need to hide out for a while.”
