Elisabeth had a tendency to lose track of time. Between one city to the next, one fight after the other, she slipped into the shadows of work. The blonde held little ties with others which made disappearing easy. Yet Elsa knew someone who did not deserve that fate. There was one friendship she never wanted to lose.
It took a handful of days, which was more effort to find someone in such a small town that she originally imagined. Nights searching at the bars were pointless if her friend did not go out herself. After forcing out a tip, she was able to track Amari down. She waited until early evening before making her way to Grave Desires in hopes to catch her at a good time.
She glanced in the windows, noting a few customers finishing their transactions. It made the perfect distraction for her to slip into the store. As she browsed the racks, she tried to keep her identity hidden. While Elsa loved to make a scene, she knew this distraction would keep the customers from leaving. She kept to herself and waited. Within minutes the last minute shoppers rushed out the door and the two were alone.
“Retail?” Elsa pulled a dress from a rack, admiring it while she called across the store to her old friend. “I’ll admit it suits you, but when did you become so boring?”
