finally started making proper refs for Circles & Spirals au, starting with Brain!

alt versions w/ eyes and lore notes under the cut

names include: Brain, B, Scarecrow, Circles, Artemis & Lunar

BIG STRAW-HAT because yes. makes him look big. the small one is mainly for indoors

always cold, but compensates by wearing warm clothes (i wanted to keep heart’s comfy vibe)

flannel

Boots for walking in the snow areas in the headspace (where he usually resides)

eyes are almost always hidden, but if he took off his hat you could see them at all times

partially blind, uses his crows to tell him what he can’t see. (kinda like audio descriptions)

despite being the logical side in this au, his opinions about emotions haven’t changed. he sees them as better than his apathy, and thinks that Instinct is almost lucky to have them. almost.

cares a lot about Instinct and is usually the first one to forgive after a fight. there are exceptions though…

his feelings on Ego are… much more complicated. but for now, let’s just say that he quietly dislikes him, but keeps most of his comments to himself

really good at whistling.

this was originally a doodle i made not too long ago that i decided to make into an actual drawing.

Brain has a murder of crows that he can control. he can talk to them to give them orders and they can tell him stuff they see. kinda like an audio description.

Instinct can’t understand them, but he can use them to send messages to Brain when he wants/needs to.

speaking of Instinct, his stinger is built like a flame and the sting feels like burning (sun->fire->burn). in Brain's case, if he gets strung he literally catches on fire.In's then got about 5 minutes to fix it before it becomes to noticeable and Ego comes to get him in trouble.

i think about it every day i just can’t figure out how to words

that being said, their relationship was kinda inspired by this post (the frog and the scorpion) just not in a romantic way
