It was almost closing time, and all Danny was doing was wiping down was all he had left to do. Truthfully it was creepy around here with all of the murders. He thought that this town was done with all of that. But clearly he was wrong about that. He didn’t remember much from before, because he had been a kid at the time but he heard stories. Hearing a knock on the door, he moved over to it ready to tell off whoever was bothering him. When he unlocked the door and opened it, he couldn’t help but smile the moment that he saw her. “Hope, come in.” He moved aside to let the girl in. “I wasn’t expecting you tonight.”

Studying that was what Jayden had been up to lately besides work. He had to apply for his internship soon. Which he was nervous about actually. Closing the book in front of him, he glanced over at her for a moment. “I need a study break. Are you game? Or do you have your own studying to do?” Not to mention they had to get ready for that dinner with Vicki and her boyfriend. He really couldn’t stand that guy and knew his sister deserved better.

Toni had waited until most people had cleared out of Hope’s performance to head back and congratulate her. Quinn had long sense gone with the sitter to sleep in his office. She was getting tired and he understood. He was glad though that they brought the sitter too. Someone that would look out for Quinn if the two of them had a dangerous situation. She was especially needed with him seeing people where there were none to see. But he pushed that aside and smiled. “Hey, brought you these,” he told her pulling flowers out and handing them over. They were congratulatory. “I’m very proud of you. You were great out there. The munchkin loved it too, but she was tired, so I sent her to my office with the sitter to sleep for a bit.”  He looked at her and smiled, chuckling a little and shaking his head. “Seeing you out there. Reminds me of high school. Your dance recitals and performances,” he smiled. “Just thinking about and about it…I…I just…” he shrugged and suddenly the things he was feeling were spilling out of his mouth in song form. “My head is filled with ruins. Most of them I built with you. Now the dust no longer moves.”

Alec loved books and reading, he thought that it was one of the most important thing in the world. Since Cyrus was a baby the doctor had always read to his kid every night and still does. Cyrus had develop a love for reading. They had finished a few of the kids book and so the doctor decided to stop at Uptown Books to get some new kid books and also some new books for himself. He was walking toward the door that's when he saw Hope. "Hey Hope," he spoke as he quickly walked closer, getting her attention before they both walked into the bookstore.

"You know exactly who I am, it has been a personal choice for me to never acknowledge that you exist."

She didn't want to tell him, what if what she heard was really true? It could destroy their family - and their family had only recently become whole again.

"Nothing, papa - I... it was just something I heard from the Cheshire Cat, she was probably lying anyway."

Toni knew this was big for not just the supernaturals, but the world and showing acceptance to those that were different from them. He was a firm supporter of all things that meant people were treated equally and that’s what he wanted to instill in Quinn as well. Just because supernaturals were different didn’t mean that they didn’t deserve to be treated well. He looked over at Hope with a smile as the three were walking along the street to the brunch. “I’m glad you decided to bring her. I know this morning with the fights breaking out were scary, but I promise nothings going to happen to either of you while I’m here,” he assured her. Sure he was only human, but they were family and he would always protect his family.

Simon grinned at Hope. “I’ve been told that I’m a little too honest sometimes, and that could get me killed with Jace around. My mom and sister have actually told countless times that my “candor” was a little too blunt and, combined with my rambling, could probably accidentally get me involved in the mafia and then killed.”

Simon shrugged. “But hey. My puppy-like demanor has given me an out many times, so I guess I can rely on that.”
