Theo had forgotten his palette in his dorm room, and had yet to perfect the Summoning Charm, so he had elected to use the back of his sketchbook, which was now thick with paint and Gesso. He collected some bright, Sunflower yellow, spreading it carefully on the small canvas before him, balancing his book awkwardly in his left arm. Flowers were one of his favourite subjects to paint, coming second onto to the night sky. Sometimes all he needed was an hour or two alone to really appreciate the beauty of nature. It was why, after Herbology, he hadn’t made his way back up to the castle, but rather wandered into the grounds. There were no set gardens, but the occasional patch of wildflowers could be found if you knew where to look. He wasn’t sure how long he had been alone for, but he had started to take his solitude for granted when he heard somebody speak. He jumped, the sleeve of his robes catching the wet paint on the canvas as he turned to see who had joined him. He eyed the student warily, part of him fearing bad news. After the attack, it seemed anything out of the ordinary caused a spark of anxiety to ignite within his chest. He recognised the boy from Quidditch games, but they had never officially met before. A frown creased his brow. “Is everything okay?” He asked, his voice barely louder than a whisper. @ludxbagman
