Ravenclaw tower was ridiculously out of the way. Seriously, who makes a bunch of kids climb thousands of steps a day? Not very clever, Rowena, but how much of Hogwarts really did make sense? The view was almost worth it though. Loxley liked their big open windows (you didn't get that in Slytherin). He liked to open them right up in the early morning when the air was still cool and damp. It prickled his exposed skin. Loxley sat on the edge of the windowsill and admired the fog on the lake, and he wondered if he'd miss it when he was busy living his adult life. His thoughts were interrupted by a gasp behind him and for a moment, he thought it was Piper, but as he turned with a goofy grin on his face he was reminded that Piper had a roommate. "Oh, shit, oh my god." Loxley muttered when he could find nothing appropriate to cover himself with. Because of course he'd wandered out of bed naked. He was far too comfortable in Piper's presence, but Meredith was kind of straight edge. He grabbed a book and stood awkwardly. "Um. I'm really sorry, I wasn't thinking. Don't be embarassed on behalf of me though, just about everyone's seen me naked but, er, sorry. This is your fucking bedroom I'm a fucking sex pest." He walked with his back to the wall right around the girl until he could reach sleeping Piper and grab a throw blanket at the bottom of her bed.
