I don't want another Only Friends, especially after that train wreck, but here are all my pitches for an Only Friends show that GMMTV would never go for because they're all too ambitious for their commercialized sensitivities.

A Boston closure one where he is introduced the world of poly. The ships in my for this one is KristSingto, OffGun, and TayNew. Boston meets a boudaire photographer (in my heart he is played by Louis) who he tries an open relationship with but comes to the realization he isn't even happy in his ideal relationship and his new ex helps him realize he is aromantic. KristSingto remain a monogamous couple with a more broader commentary on it is okay to be switches within a relationship, but the show ends in OffGun and TayNew in a four person poly relationship and I want the starting relationship to be Gun and New. It is important to understand after this one we never hear from Boston again.

An Only Friends called Only Friends: Exes and Woes which is just nothing but broken pairs. This solely exists in my mind to set Twitter on fire, and bonus points if this is how they establish new pairs.

An Only Friends set in a hospital where the halfway incident is the drama gets so severe they lose a patient on the operating table and the rest of the show is them dealing with a malpractice lawsuit where the second part love rival is one of the lawyers. I have no idea who I want in this one but it only makes sense if one of them is JimmySea.

An Only Friends set in a late night show. I want specifically GeminiFourth, JoongDunk, and PondPhuwin for this one. I don't have an idea about an overall plot, but I want a broadcast to go terribly wrong halfway through due to the drama and the rest of the show is convincing the higher ups to keep the show on the air (bonus points if the higher ups are played by the directors throughout GMMTV). Pond and Joong kiss at least once, and the last minute love rival should be Satang and he gets to kiss Phuwin or Fourth.

Only Friends Omegaverse. That's it. That's the pitch.

Sometimes I think about ZeeNunew and how they are a real couple. What do you mean Zee is an accomplished actor who Nunew saw and decided he would be his boyfriend? What do you mean Nunew met him in a relatively mortifying way and Zee became so smitten with him he immediately got on the phone with the director and demanded Nunew be his acting partner? What do you mean Zee kept brotherzoning Nunew and everyone kept side eyeing him for it? What do you mean they are real???

I have a lot of takes about KinnPorsche's sex life, and a lot of those takes start and end at Porsche would NOT like being called a whore in bed.

I find it so funny how many people who write mafia things use black and red as the family colors. Like, I get it, color of blood and darkness, ooo how spooky, but choosing purple or green or blue isn't going to kill the atmosphere.

I am so serious when I say Me and Thee is the best Thai BL to start with. I could probably write an essay about it but the short reasons are:

Gets you used to Thailand's general approach to production? Check.

A meta jokes starter pack to look up later and get into the actors later? Check.

The general comedic tone you are going to find in pretty much every Thai production even if it isn't meant to be a comedy (Me and Thee is, but other shows may not be)? Check.

The general comedic tone Thailand takes to darker subject matters and their little rushed endings? Check.

Plenty of Looney Tunes sound effects? Check.

A good romance at its core which leaves you feeling good inside? Check.

A side romance that shows the yearning you can fit into these while being a more emotionally heavy storyline? Check.

A side romance that isn't the best thing in the world but showcases Thailand's general approach to forgiveness? Check.

Anyways, if anyone asks me to recommend a Thai starter BL, Me and Thee is the one I am going to recommend from now on. It is so good both series wise, but also getting used to Thailand's BL approach.
