If you form an unhealthy attachment towards someone that you barely know anything about and base your entire wellbeing and life on that person, and that person does NOT reciprocate that closeness at all and doesn't even know you outside of a few surface level interactions? you're being parasocial!

Friendly reminder that being parasocial is not exclusive towards famous individuals, you can be parasocial about a stranger online too!

Normalise uhhh... removing people from your life that give you anxiety even if you feel guilty because "oh wahh what if me leaving them is their final breaking point???"

That's not your responsibility and....they will be fine. Even if they've said to you "Oh you're like one of my only friends and I'm cripplingly lonely" they will literally be fine without you, I promise. =~=

And if they're not? They will be. The person I just removed literally constantly had statuses like "I just destroy everything I touch, everyone leaves me.." Yeah.....no wonder....when you don't even try to talk to anyone and you just let them guess everything about you, you have a partner now, you'll be fine without me as a decoration in your friend list. 🙄

there have been a number of asks around caratblr that have reached inboxes asking to put authors works through chatgpt and such to continue unfinished works or to , I don't know, satisfy their deluded needs.

A not so gentle reminder that I do NOT consent to anything of such. Do NOT put my works into ai. It is not very hard to respect the work that an author has put into their writing and planning and what not. It is not very hard to be patient and wait and it is not very hard to not be insensitive and stupid. I get that common sense is not very common, but please. It is basic ethics.

That anon has been getting flamed for all the right reasons and I pray that if there is anyone like them interacting with or on my blog, please leave. This is a place to express yourself and your hobbies / passion. Do not make tumblr a site where writers have to constantly live in fear of their works being plagiarized or copied. Have a conscience.

I never really payed attention whether I had cellulite or not.

Buy after watching the Barbie movie, I got curious, and so I checked my thighs.

And there it was. The squiggly white lines branching on the side of my upper thigh.

I was, surprisingly, not upset about it, and somehow I didn't hate it.

And tonight, I decided to become a kid again and used some colorful markers to draw on my skin, to draw on the cellulites and make them into fun little tattoos.

I drew a sakura tree and some long stemmed daisies, and I was smiling by the end of it.

This movie really shifted something in me.

Even though the dread and existensial crisis is still there, the self acceptance is slowly coming in, and because of that, I kinda feel like crying tears of joy, cause maybe someday soon, I'll be able to look in the mirror and say,

"Hey, that's actually a really beautiful girl in the reflection, and she's....Me"
