Number 25: Force Focus
Happy New Year! Surely you know from last year that it's time to review this year's number :) (Too bad it doesn't fit with the lunar new year like last time).
I've seen this card many, many times, but never close enough to see that its surface is littered with camera lenses. I always regarded some of them as just various camera knobs, with those longer ones towards the back as some sort of handhold for positioning it when it's using its main tripod machine gun as an actual tripod stand. (It's funny how some of them specifically look like scopes, which matches what's going on with its three tripod guns). I love the light reflections going on here, from the big glare on the side of its body to the ones captured inside its main lens. Great shadow/highlight work all around, honestly. I just wish it was a little more forward facing, because the lens reflection is so cool and looks so realistic that I just want more of it. I'd also just like to mention that the "Fullmetal Photoglide" part of its Japanese name is so rad, and I'm so sad that it didn't make it to the translated version.
