some random johnny slaughter hc’s i’ve had in my notes app for over a year now and wanted to finally dump here.
ཀ johnny has been working at the gas station since he was like 13, because nancy yanked him out of any schooling he had.
ཀ his music taste is ripped directly from drayton, who, when johnny was a teenager, would play music at work.
ཀ to johnny, even if he didn’t realize it, music felt like bonding with drayton,. until drayton got older and grumpy about it more often than not.
ཀ johnny started playing the radio when he’d work in his cold room or in the shed, and bubba liked to listen with him sometimes… chop-top continued this tradition after johnny left.
ཀ johnny has a massive sweet tooth, specifically he loves caramel and nancy would make him caramel pie on holidays. (which he always devoured.. his poor teeth.)
ཀ he likes working on vehicles, when he was a kid he wanted to be a mechanic. :^)
ཀ his favorite cut of meat is from the thighs. :)
ཀ he IS an ass man. i do not make the rules i just relay them.
ཀ his hands are all scarred and cut up from playing five finger fillet as a kid with nubbins and chop. (and from some victims, of course.)
ཀ lover of roadtrips. hater of not being the driver.
ཀ after johnny found out what nancy did to him and to his birth mother, he made a little grave for judith hidden on the property. it’s near his shack now, and he often speaks to it.
ཀ mother’s day is his least favorite time of year, nancy usually makes him celebrate with her but he prefers to spend time at the makeshift grave he made for judith.
ཀ he loves nancy, she raised him of course. but he still has extremely conflicting feelings towards her. i do think he’d kill her one day—but it would be an accident. too much anger. not realizing she can’t be thrown around… (this one was smth i talked ab ages ago with an old friend, thank u mollie.)
ཀ he likes halloween, but only because he thinks the costumes are dumb as hell, so it makes him laugh.
ཀ he drives out into towns often to get away from everything, we know he loooves getting into bar fights. but he’s also often being a nasty flirt and probably taking someone to a hotel—where that poor soul also tends to meet their end later on.
ཀ definitely brings back souvenirs for the family. anything he can get his paws on that he thinks they’d like. (cough cough, bubba’s little sticker on his chainsaw..)
