These four are my biggest bi panic, cause, wtf????
Finally the world will remember this day of Captain Jack Sparrow.
Okay so I rewatched POTC this past week, and I'm wondering sooo many things:
Why did Cap. Jack have to give Davy Jones 100 souls? (I saw somewhere that it was because Sparrow freed slaves?)
Why does Norrington want to marry Elizabeth? The age gap, which i know is normal back then but still!
Does any of the pirates except Barbossa and Turner have kids?
How did Davy Jones come back, even though his heart was stabbed?
Also, I wish these movies addressed some of the nastiness going on back then (hygiene) it is a kid movie but I don't understand why they didn't show anyone taking care of themselves (brushing their hair)
I know Jack's entire life has been always dedicated to the sea and sea only. He chases eternal life with the dream of being able to sail upon the crystal blue indefinitely, from one end of the world to the the other end. Sea is his love and sea is his life. Jack is wholly and completely, a sailor and a pirate through and through.
But in the same time I can't help but to think, do Jack ever wished for a different life? One where he didn't die twice. One where he weren't cursed by Davy Jones. One where he wasn't branded pirate by the Redcoats. Does he ever wished to have a lover than stick with him through thick and thin?
Like this man has been betrayed time and time again and yet he always places his trust with these people. Barbossa led a mutiny against him and yet he confides with Barbossa through the many voyages he did. Elizabeth chained him to a certain death and he still voted for her to be the Pirate King. Considering everything he's been through and despite his hijinks, I believe that man is actually deeply in need of a place where he can become tired.

“Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate”
Going back to a quote from Captain Jack Sparrow: the movies were made for fun and comedy, but some of the quotes truly hit hard and deep. It is only when you reflect on his words that you realize Jack was far more serious than anyone gave him credit for.
We often take for granted things that are not materialistic. Sometimes we realize it too late, after we have already lost them.
So, let this be a reminder for anyone who needs it right now that "not all treasure is silver and gold."
was trying to do the math for their ages and it was so frustrating the timeline for these movies irritates me soo bad when it comes to ages so i just made my headcanon whatever … anyways,, i believe they met just a few months after barbossa mutinied against jack & then he sailed to seville, met angelica,, etc etc
