Author’s note: So this is my first time writing anything and sharing it. I had this idea for a long time and decided to write it down. Hopefully it is not very bad and I hope you'll enjoy it. (And if there are any mistakes I'm really sorry. I usually don't write in english.)

Summary: You meet Bucky in Romania on a mission but things turn bad and you have to make him trust you and the other Avengers.

’’Y/N come here. Please don’t go’’ Bucky said with a shaky voice as he was standing in the hallway. ’’You did this and now you have to accept the consequences of what you did. So no, I will not stay. Goodbye Bucky.’’ It was hard for you to leave. It hurt to leave the love of your life but you gave him a choice that if he decided to go on the mission that was stupid and dangerous you would leave. But he didn't believe you so now he has to deale with the consequences.

4 years before

You were on the mission in Romania when you first saw him. Tall, muscular, handsome and ready to kill you in any minute. ’’Steve, I think we have a problem’’ you said, trying to figure out your escaprout into safety. ’’Y/N I know. I can see him and you will be alright. Nothing will happen.’’ Steve reassuring you about your safety did not help. You felt your legs getting weaker with every second that passed. ’’I’m not so sure about that because he is running right towards me.’’ You said as you prepare yourself mentally to fight the Winter Soldier. ’’Y/N we’re coming. Hang on.’’ Steve said but you were too distracted to hear what he said. The soldier came running toward you and started hitting you with force you had never felt before. Blocking his hits was hard but you somehow managed to resist the punches and even managed to hit some back. At the corner of your eye you could see Steve and Nat arriving and taking over the fighting part. As you were doing your best to get back into safety you saw how both of your friends had managed to take Winter Soldier out.

2 weeks later

’’Y/N, you have to do this. You are to only one that can interrogate him.’’ Steve told you in the conference room. ’’Why me? I’m no good at it, you should send Nat, she can get him talking, you know she has her ways. ’’ I was angry with Steve. For some unknown reason he decided that I was qualified enough to go and interrogate the man who wanted to kill me two weeks ago, the one and only Bucky Barnes.’’You can do this and this time you will be safe. He doesn’t have his metal arm and his restrained so you will be just fine. Trust me.’’ Steve was right, he was not very strong right now so I’d be fine if I’d do it. ’’Fine, I’ll do it but just for you. But you owe me.’’ I said and gave Steve a small smile because I was not capable of staying mad at him. He was like a brother I never had. Whenever I had a trobels he was the one to help me solve them and he was always there to protect me even when I didn't need the help.

The room where the interrogation took place was plain, grey walls, a table and two chairs, nothing more. I walked in and settled down in one of the chairs and waited for him to arrive. It took about 10 minutes before he was carried in. There were bruises in his face and it looked like he didn't want to come here at all because the bruises were fresh and recently done. Thats why it probably took this much time for him to get here. The guard helped him to sit and then left. It seems that he was to afraid or angry to look up because he was staring at the floor.’’I’m sorry it they hurt you Mr Barnes.’’ I said softly and smiled a little to help him get comforatble. ’’It’s not like I havent been beaten before.’’ He said, there was anger in his voice. Great way to win him over I thought to myself. ’’Let me introduce myself. My name is Y/N. If you answer some questions then I can make sure those men outside wont lay a hand on you again.’’ I said as I nodded towards the door. And for the first time he looked up, there was pain in his eyes and in that moment I forgot that he was a bad guy, he was the one that killed so many people. ’’Why should I believe you? How to I know your not one of them. On on Hydra little slaves?’’ I was little shock of the fact that he thought I was Hydra. Yes I was on the undercover mission there once but it was a long time ago when I was young and stupid. ’’I am not Hydra. I work for your friend Steve Rogers. Do you remember him? You two were really close not so long ago and if you want he can come here and talk to you instead.’’ I was doing my best to get him talking. To win over his trust was most important, because if I could to that we can capture the man how made him into soldier who kills everyone on his way. ’’Steve..’’ he mumbled, so I figured I had hit to soft spot that I can use to get him talking even more.
