My first memories don't even have images, they're all sound.
I just know I was with my mom on the sofa. She had put a Vangelis CD on my dad's recorder. She hit play. And ever since then, I've associated Vangelis music with my childhood and mom.

My first personalized ringtone! Bon Jovi was my favorite band in middle school. The intro of this song is very uplifting and made me feel cool... Yeah, I was cool for real.
... Then I found MCR and started listening to them nonstop. The intro makes a great ringtone! It's exciting and fun, but I wouldn't answer quickly just to listen to it for a few more seconds lol
I discovered the instrumental and OH THAT BRIDGE!!! Its first half is almost ethereal, then the guitars and drums kick in and it makes my brain levitate. So it's been my ringtone since 2022 haha.
Maybe to prevent getting sick of this tune, I might replace it with the intro of
which is alt, just not rock music (like every ringtone I've had) but it rocks!... badum tss 🥁 (sorry). It's fun, even playful, and its rhythm cheers me up.
