(it’s 🙄 because every time I went to post these I was like “ooohhhh I’m gonna write a whole deep introduction explanation caption on here” since by then and more so now I’ve accumulated new people on here & my other socials who only intimately know Elysium characters, and so flinging anyone else here without context seemed weird to me, except ok cool I never wrote that and still haven’t and thus these stayed un-posted. NEW CHARACTER ALERT NEW CHARACTER ALERT 

We have chosen a reveal on today, World Goth Day, quite very deliberately,

earlier in the month I realized that perhaps the reason my beloved Casket & Coffin have felt so out of place is because they’re not supposed to be the protagonists of any story..... maybe in fact they’re.... just the villains of someone else’s story. WHOSE?? well MAYBEEEEE-

presenting one ~*Lilac Hopscotch*~, professional demon hunter and also professional goth butch lesbian of our fucking dreams (Casket&Coffin are also lesbians, felt it was necessary to just add MORE lesbians if I’m sending someone out specifically to stop them lmfao). name whipped up out of a joke thought that INSTANTLY stuck so, sorry Lilac, these are the cards fate has dealt you. hired in this moment by desperate authorities ‘cause this pair has been eating an entire city and that cant be allowed :((( bad

tbh still figuring out Lilac’s more specific deal- figure she’s got some kind of supernatural ability up her sleeves but I’m not sure what it is yet!! in the meantime here’s a confrontation in an alley and an intro pic! HAPPY WORLD GOTH DAY<3

i actually posted an ENTIRELY different version of this drawing late late late last night and then woke up looked at it again and hated it fgKGHG,, i kept my lines mostly (changed a couple of little details, including fixing Yaoi Hand which im v fond of rn) and spent today redoing aaaalllll of it. the end result is this!!! which im much happier with!!!!

wish i knew what Casket’s whole deal, motivation, specific acts of crime/and/or/evil actually ARE but.... for now im just gonna keep drawing vague ominous pictures bc its... fun lmao. these two are so good for art stress relief ugH,, but yea im just gonna add this to my collection of  Context-Less But Clearly Context-Needed Pics of These two, featuring also this drawing here,

yeAH UHH, Okay so I have this super cool character!!!! her whole shtick is that she’s got a demon tethered to her to do her bidding!!!!! the only FUCKING THING IS, i cannot for the life of me figure out what her bidding IS and its extremely frustrating,,, what the hELL does Casket want??? money??? power???? sex???? is this all just pure bloodlust??? is there an end goal??? a rival to fight??? ANYTHING TO ACCOMPLISH??

really grinding my gears bc in the same breath Casket and Coffin hav been my faves to draw lately so im just..... theyre just.... uhhh hanging out. doing entirely ambiguous crimes.

sure didn’t intentionally make Casket and Coffin’s color schemes parallel to daytime vs. nighttime but it’s here and it works and I’m embracing it

do not be fooled, despite the presence of one bloodstained actual demon?? Casket’s calling the shots and making the hitlist-- Coffin, ever neutral, is just here to be her claws

WE ARE EXPERIENCING A REVAMP--

ever since Casket was “born” some time ago, she was always meant to have a counterpart - who firmly remained un-designed and un-interpretable, until JUST this past week or so when she decided who she wAS. and so presenting fucking finally--  perhaps semi-tentatively:

IIIIT’S COFFIN

first things first: the birth of Coffin means - for now - the death of Spaghetti and Gemelli, {who perhaps still exist somewhere but probably not here. we’ll figure that out.} rip rip

Coffin is Casket’s number one gal -- uh, gal shaped creature -- who’s been tethered to Casket since Casket first figured out how to summon and control demons (at the age of, way too young). Coffin is Casket’s demon, the leader of the hierarchy of all sorts of randos Casket’s always grabbing. they are inseparable Friends, Business Partners, Possibly Girlfriends? [eyes emoji], Co-Conspirators, Etc Etc Etc... and inevitably, one day in the far future Coffin will turn on her and devour Casket alive despite it all :( but that’s life when you’re messing around with demons ya know. its fine its fine its.... fine

i have a lot of things im workin out here with all this!!! Casket finally doesn’t feel out of place after a long time of me trying to make her fit somewhere!!!! and so, All Details To Follow

and as one last thing, I guess i’m also here to officially announce my decision to place Casket among the ranks of my Villains, because there is certainly a lot of tag-team murder going on here for sure yikes
