#differentcause_samepassion Been protesting, lobbying & rallying for almost 5mos. str8 for various causes/bills. It was so nice seeing the support for LWOPers yesterday. My only disappointment was that I'd wish there had been more Black/Brown/Red folks out there being that we're the ones that get sentenced to LWOP almost 3x's more than others. Other than that I really enjoyed seeing alot of u outside of a visiting/carpool setting. I even surprisingly ran into a comadre, Candace, that I usually reg. visit and been scheduled with for FVs at the same time. All the guest speakers were phenomenal, spoke candidly and from the heart! Asante sana/thank u very much to the supporters that traveled from allover Cali to meet with Capitol officials and lobbied their @$$es off for ALL of our LWOP loved ones!!!! Last but not least, I send nothing but ☮️, 💓 and blessings out to the Sistren, Ms. Amber-Rose Howard, who took time to speak with me/give me props, hear my story and the good news I recently received.
