Finally time to hit the road again, this time down south of the South Island. First stop was the very interesting 135 yr old Castle Claremont. Castle Claremont was built from of local bluestone and limestone by English stonemasons and finished with imported mahogany windows and fireplaces and English stained glass feature windows. The complex included a private Chapel and sat on 4,000 acres of farmland. Really enjoyed the feel of this place and felt stepping back in time, which I’d never expected in New Zealand. #newzealand #castleclaremont #roadtrip #roadtrippingnewzealand #castle @ingetje_tadros (at Castle Claremont) https://www.instagram.com/p/CC7zwcWAPHq/?igshid=skpett4kz7yi
