Alright......time to write some mess. What do we want? Who do we want it with? Is there blood involved? Hit the asks, you guys. I'm ready to serve.
I have also never seen castlevania but have also been told to watch it by every single person I know (we can form an alliance)
😂😂😂 Did we just form a Castlevania watch club because I think we did!!!
I'm currently writing with HOTD on in the background but I intend to watch an episode of Castlevania before bed. 🤭
Dracula having sex with pregnant s/o headcannons?
I’m going to do headcannons and maybe a one shot. Is it still called a one shot? Or is it an imagine? Or is that a one direction thing?
Saw your post, getting stuff off your chest, I just wanted to say that I haven't seen the thing with the kids mentioned by anyone and it really stood out to me, I feel what you mean to some extent, because for me it was a stronger reaction, albeit you probably won't feel the same and that's, obviously, perfectly fine. I have an instant recoil these days whenever a character is around kids for like one second and everyone instantly goes "THEY LITERALLY ADOPTED THEM/THAT'S THEIR CHILD/THEY'RE A PARENT"... genuinely sick of it, and I went white as a sheet when I heard it, I wanted to pluck my eyes out. I don't know if it's an American thing but English speaking fandoms (well, those teeming with fancops that is) seem like they cannot process adult looking characters being in any near proximity to childlike characters without automatically imposing parenthood and family dynamics and it's becoming distressing to me. I feel like Alucard needed to process his trauma and learn to trust and be whole again, he's young himself too, why he needed to be a "father figure" all of a sudden is beyond me.
Thank you so much for the ask!! I don’t get many asks so it makes me happy when I can talk meta with people 💛💛 (Sorry I’m a bit late in answering.)
Funnily enough I actually do agree with you. I didn’t have quite so strong a reaction, but I definitely had a very similar one when I first hear it.
My feelings were and are a bit mixed. I was saying in my other post that I would have preferred that I got to actually see this interaction; see the kids run by him and call him father, and him smile when no ones looking. I still think that would have been a better, more touching way to do the scene, and would have had more chance of me liking it (though I probably still would have felt very weird about it). (I think it especially would have been better because it would show that Alucard himself liked it, not that Greta was forcing the role on him.) I know that it was meant to be something touching, and pretty much everyone seems to like it (and I have seen some cute posts about it), so I just tried to like it too, and focus on the fact that all they were really trying to say was he was having a nice relationship with the kids, and that was indeed sweet.
But yeah, when I heard Greta say “I heard some of them calling you father” for me it was less a reaction of horror, and more a “HUH??!!”moment. When I heard it I was like “Alucard...you agree with this???!! This is how you see yourself??!!” I almost expected Alucard to refute it and say he didn’t see himself as a father to them. Like I seriously do not see Alucard as anything remotely close to a father figure, and it felt weird and wrong to me.
What are your theories/ is your wishlist for the third season of Castlevania?
Hi Anon, thank you for the Ask!
I don’t have much in the way of theories, other than it seems like this season will bring a new take on some ideas from Curse of Darkness. With the addition of St Germain, it seems like there will be some setup for Hector vs Isaac. Hector might want to look for Isaac on good terms and be surprised by what he finds. Isaac seems like a natural choice for S4 main villain, but I can also see him being more of a neutral ally. Carmilla doesn’t seem like a two season main villain, so she probably isn’t surviving this season.
Superficially—meaning, going on nothing but that trailer and the art—Lenore seems like she could play a role similar to Laura from Lords of Shadow, or Rosaly from Hector’s CoD game backstory (or the CoD manga).
I assume Trevor and Sypha, and Alucard will remain split into separate story arcs and something happens at the end of the season that will lead them to reunite in S4 (assuming their story arcs are occurring in the same time/era).
I’m very curious if St Germain will be a time-traveler, if so, that could be wild.
My wishlist for the season is that:
More of Castlevania games’ monster menagerie shows up. I loved seeing Slogra and Gaibon for their brief time last season.
If St Germain really is a time-traveler then he’s like something out of 1960s Dr Who meets the Twilight Zone.
Sypha gets a Bowel Disrupting spell.
Especially #3.
Reaction of Alucard Trevor and Hector listening to the female reader singing a song so that their children can go to sleep (sorry, I do not know if I already asked for this request)
**Alucard**
An echoing castle makes thunderstorms ten times worse, Alucard knew this so it was no surprise that the children couldn’t sleep. Though the storms Alucard remembered as a child had never been this bad. The castle practically shook as thunder reigned throughout the stone halls. Above that though was quite possibly the most beautiful son Alucard had ever heard. It drifted though the air on honey sweet notes pulling like a siren’s song to his son’s bedroom. He could only watch in wonder as you, his beloved wife, ran your hands through your child’s hair. They slept peacefully with their head resting on your lap, all fear of the storm lost to the sound of your voice. Alucard sees no other option but to lay on the bed beside you and listen with a content smile.
**Trevor**
The only songs Trevor knew were overly obscene bar songs so when your child asks for a lullaby he immediately passes it off to you. You roll your eyes and wait for them to nestle into bed before begging the song. Trevor’s jaw drops at your voice. How come you don’t sound that good singing bar songs? Maybe he was just too caught up in those moments to really appreciate the obvious gift you have. “That’s not fair.” he whispers when you finish.
**Hector**
Hector usually helped your child sleep by sitting on the bed and letting every animal in the house pile on top of them like a giant blanket of fur. Usually that was enough to get them to sleep. However sometimes they have a really bad nightmare. When Hector walked in that night from a late night walk he found you holding your crying child. On top of that you were singing softly while rocking them back to sleep. The animals, cats, dogs, and that one fox, sat at your feet listening. It was the most beautiful thing Hector had ever seen and how he wished he could keep it forever.
These were fun to write and honestly I needed this.
Per the WIP game:
Tell us about "Purgatory Belmonts."
That was fast👀 I'm not surprised that you're curious about that of all the WIPs (affectionate)
Okay so, when Leon swore that he and his kin would destroy the night, he also made another promise;
"None of the wielder of the vampire killer will reach heaven until Dracula's blood is put to rest."
So Leon and many other ancestors of Trevor who have used or handled the whip, including Trevor's parents (Gabriel and Marie) are stuck in purgatory, bound to look after their burned home until Dracula's bloodline is erased. His siblings are not stuck because they have not wielded the whip.
The main fic focuses on the ghosts' daily activities and being bored asf because there's nothing much to do. Until Trevor comes back (much to their excitement) with two other people searching for the Belmont hold and a way to kill Dracula.
Not soon after, Leon realises who the blond warrior is and the alchemist Belmonts are very impressed by the ginger haired magician. After the canon stuff happens (mostly) Trevor decides to stay behind while Sypha visits her family.
The Belmonts come to terms (and grow fond) with the son of Dracula.
(if anyone wants any more clearing up, my asks are always open)
