Mausoleum of Lanthenea II - City of Cathengard

This mausoleum lies within the Whispering Gardens, where many tombs of prominent figures of the Empire can be found. Lanthenea II (1309-1357) was narrowly elected as Cathengard Empress in 1348 (76 years ago) and reigned competently yet unremarkably for 9 years. She had intended to stand for a second 10-year term in the 1358 election but did not live to see it.

In the year 1357, she was assassinated.

Almanac House is an office building and the home of Worldroam Magazine, a popular monthly travel themed publication focusing on exploring interesting attractions throughout the world, especially the lesser known and unusual destinations. Issues often include a short work of travel or adventure fiction by popular authors or poets.

Fellstar Meteorite - Central library

In the year 1109 (314 years ago), a meteor was witnessed falling from the heavens over the city of Cathengard. The iron meteorite was found in the Whispering gardens and named "Fellstar". It was estimated to be approximately four billion years old.

After being purchased and kept by several owners, it was eventually donated to the Cathengard Central Library where it remains on display to this day.
