Am I going to provide any context for this picture? Nah*. It's new art, though!

*I've been up to my eyebrows in a super self-indulgent mini-sequel lately. It involves Xeebec and Cazella. Saying anything else would be too spoilery for the main novel.

*mumbles something vague about working on a mini-sequel*

Here are Jadelle, Codarin, and their daughters, Leva and baby Cazella. By the current/sequel time frame the girls are both in their 20s, but I wanted to draw them as a young family. Jadelle and Codarin are the first biracial couple to appear in the story (although it isn't that rare in-universe), and their daughters are the first of my characters to be half Lanarian, half Vincaran.

Oh, that dreamy prince...

It's inevitable that a handsome young prince has fangirls. I am way too amused at the thought of a thirteen-year-old girl with Xeebec posters, a Xeebec scrapbook, and a membership in the Prince Xeebec Fan Club. Thanks to the way he carefully maintained his public image, nobody knew at the time what an insufferable jerk he was.
