Well, well, well.....I finally got my shit together enough to figure out my creative vision for 𝔉𝔞𝔰𝔥𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝔦𝔫 𝔚𝔢𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔬𝔰....after several months..... sorry guys >⩊<. Safe to say, I'm much happier with my current editing style, so I took down my old Fashion in Westeros posts so I can redo them with a bit more valnyra pizzazz *insert jazz hands*. I'll probably start rolling those out in the next few weeks!

Babbling Storm

He had been a lad of sixteen when his father had taken him to the Riverlands. Like every logical father of a rambunctious youth, Lord Baratheon had spoken to Lyonel in half truths. Lord Tully was hosting a tourney for his daughter's fourteenth nameday. Lyonel was going to participate. Many young lord heirs would be there to do the same and it would be wise for Lyonel to meet them. Tourneys were the fastest way to make friends—that is what his father always said. As long as no one died, of course. Dying always puts a damper on things.

The betrothed of Aegon V's four eldest children. The betrothals were all broken off when the Targaryen princes decided to marry for love, like their parents, rather than politics.

Lady Baratheon. The unnamed daughter of Lord Lyonel Baratheon, betrothed to Duncan Targaryen, heir to the throne. Duncan broke the engagement when he secretly married a smallfolk, Jenny. To avenge the insult, Lyonel rebelled and, although defeated, obtained redress: Duncan had to abdicate his rights and Lyonel's heir was given Rhaelle, the fifth children of Aegon V, as his wife.

Celia Tully. Daughter of Lord Tully, she was betrothed to his second son, Jaehaerys, who had become heir to the throne after Duncan's renunciation. The engagement was broken when Jaehaerys and his younger sister, Shaera, ran away to marry in accordance with the Targaryen tradition, which Aegon wished to abolish. Aegon was forced to accept the marriage, and Jaehaerys and Shaera eventually became king and queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Luthor Tyrell. Betrothed to Shaera Targaryen, who reportedly ran away to marry her older brother Jaehaerys. Luthor would later marry Olenna Redwyne, Daeron Targaryen's rejected bride.

Olenna Redwyne. Betrothed to his youngest son, Daeron. Daeron followed his siblings' example and broke off the engagement, but never married, preferring to wander Westeros with his companion, Jeremy Norridge. Olenna, who later claimed to have broken off the engagement, later married Luthor Tyrell.

Celia Tully was the daughter of the Lord of Riverrun during the reign of King Aegon V, likely himself the son of Lord Medgar Tully, who participated in the Tourney at Ashford. As part of an attempt to both end the tradition of incest and forge alliances with the increasingly unruly great houses, Aegon betrothed his second son, Prince Jaehaerys, to Celia,.

However, when the firstborn Prince Duncan broke his own betrothal and wed for love to Jenny of Oldstones, Jaehaerys took heed. Despite Duncan losing his claim to the throne, and Jaehaerys instead being named Prince of Dragonstone, he followed his brother's footsteps and wed a bride of his own choice; his sister, Princess Shaera.

It is unknown what happened to Celia after the betrothal was broken. House Tully did not rebel in protest alongside House Baratheon, perhaps suggesting that she and her House did not take great offence. Considering her age, and the generational placement, she was likely sister or aunt to Lord Hoster Tully - and may have even lived to meet Catelyn, Lysa and Edmure.

There is no mention of her marrying, nor any unnamed Tully wed into any other contemporary House; suggesting that either she was deemed unmarriagable after the broken betrothal, or may have remained unwed by choice, remaining with her family of birth or potentially becoming a Septa.
