A little birdie told me that you work waaaaaaaaayyyyy too hard. Or maybe I just know what that’s like. You own your own business, and you kick ass doing it. But there are days you need to pamper yourself for just a little while, so I hope this gets the job done. You sound like the sweet and steady, tough as nails type of girl, so I figured some sweet wine would pair well with a good book (or five!) and some luxury bubble bath and a few candles. 

I hope the season treats you well and, hey, now I know who I’ll finally go to for my tattoo.

"Merhaba."

Family dinner wasn't a foreign concept between them. A weekly tradition, when their schedules allowed it, after Devrim moved to Lunar Cove. In homage to the ones they spent together as children, growing up together in New York City. Though their meals looked a little different now, and no one was throwing köftes across the table; usually.

A magical buffet that made any food he could think of just appear on his plate was a concept that, until recently, Devrim would've deemed possible only in works of fiction. The earth shattering truth of reality that came alongside reconnecting with his cousin had yet to cease being a marvel. Born a human, ignorant of the supernatural, now living in the world's last magical stronghold. These dinners with Dilan made Devrim feel a little more normal, like everything he'd ever known to be true hadn't changed.

The food was incredible, though it wasn't why Devrim ate in silence. He'd never been a talker, and around Dilan he didn't have to be. No matter what she had to say he enjoyed listening. Their talks were one of the things he'd missed most after she disappeared.

When a bottle of wine appeared on the table Devrim let out a chuckle. He hadn't ordered it, but he'd partake. "I work in the morning." A gentle reminder that drinks with dinner was all he was committing to tonight, though if anyone could talk him into something he didn't want to do it was her.
