CHAGEE, the international tea sensation that has taken Manila by storm, is set to become pets and fur parents’ favorite hangout spot with the opening of its first-ever pet-friendly store in Southeast Asia in Eastwood City today, December 5, 2025. Its grand opening weekend promises can’t-miss promos and activities with pawsome surprises that will give pets and humans a weekend to remember.
Fueled by the growing pet ownership among Filipinos, CHAGEE’s newest Tea Bar in Manila looks to elevate tea experience by introducing a new space where tea culture meets pet companionship, effectively hoisting its mission to craft moments of connection through high-quality tea. The Hungry Kat was invited together with our fur-baby Fiona to the media preview of CHAGEE's newest Pet-Friendly store last December 2 which you can find just outside the Eastwood Mall in Eastwood City.
This inclusive Eastwood store is the global milk tea brand’s way of bringing people–including their pets–closer together. Fiona was quite happy to discover a new place to hang out with her fellow fur pets and to meet some new friends as well.

To top it all off, every order screams cuteness overload with the specially designed pet-themed cups in pastel colors featuring cuddly pets, exclusively at the Eastwood branch.
The CHAGEE Eastwood pet-friendly store grand opening pop-up event kicks off on December 5 and runs through December 7, promising ‘paw-some’ celebration to pets and their owners. Guests can enjoy a variety of fun sights and activities including the CHAGEE giant cup, pawtrait photo booth, and even a “paw-shion” show.
Participants who will complete 2 activities at the pop-up event can take home prizes, such as a free drink voucher. Aside from BOYA, CHAGEE’s first three stores in Manila will be serving its lineup of high-quality teas that are internationally famed. The rich Da Hong Pao Milk Tea, smooth Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, aromatic Lapsang Souchong Black Milk Tea, and the distinctive Glutinous Green Milk Tea are among CHAGEE’s first offerings in the country, and will be available in its newly-opened stores at SM North EDSA, Robinsons Galleria, and Venice Grand Canal Mall starting August 29.
The media guests also got to join a short tea workshop where CHAGEE Senior Tea Industry Researcher Ryan David gave a discussion on the different tea variants and how they are processed. We were able to smell and taste the different tea leaves and bring home some extra tea bags for ourselves.
Aside from that, guests were given a preview of some of the CHAGEE flavors that stores will be offering starting August 29. My favorite was the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea which boasts of a mellow refined sweetness. This will be what I will be ordering when I visit the CHAGEE stores.
