How have you changed over the past year? Physically or emotionally.
Indra has grown a lot stronger in the past year, an unwomanly strength. But while her physical health and strength has gotten better, Indra's emotional state has deteriorated. Since Arcturus finished them, Indra became rather twisted and bitter. She also became something of a recluse - she didn't want to leave the house unless it was the full moon or an important social event that she had to go to. She snaps at people easily now, and a true smile is something rare to see upon her lips.
What is something that you used to believe in, but no longer do?
Indra used to believe that all forms of half-breeds were lower than scum. She believed this due to her parents and their indoctrination of their beliefs into her head, but now she is willing to defend half-breeds as much as she can. She will not hear a word against anyone, if they are brought up, and she's willing to argue and talk back to her parents if they do such a thing. Perhaps it would bring shame upon the family, but since she is one now, she doesn't want to let the prejudice continue in the case that her condition was discovered.
If you could spend a day at another age in your life, which age would you pick and why?
Indra would go back to her last year in Hogwarts. She enjoyed her time with Arcturus, sneaking around, and of course the lovemaking. She misses Hogwarts dreadfully.
How do you feel about self-image? Has it improved or worsened over time?
Indra's thoughts about self image have somewhat worsened. Not because she cares dreadfully about her appearance, but because she doesn't care any more. She doesn't truly care if she goes out into the street without gloves on, or if her dress is a little shorter than most. Her mother's constant complaining that she will never get a husband does nothing to quell these problems, if anything it encourages them, though she never does break the social rules.
If you could start a brand new life, would you?
Indra would start a brand new life. She thinks it would be easier, than having to deal with the pain of transformations and the heartbreak of seeing Arcturus eventually marry someone else. Though she now has his wedding ring firmly on her finger, she knows that he will move on. A brand new life would be much easier, in her eyes.
