Chandrakhani is a holy place and the home for many (Devta) Gods across Himachal. The place itself has very strong vibes. I got this chance to hike with the locals on their auspicious occasion when Jagdamini rishi travelled to this beautiful location. This place is really powerful that many rare herbs grows at this place if you are smart enough to pluck the right one. In the month of August, all the locals come over here to find different varieties of herbs. It’s also believed that the Sanjeevni booti mentioned in Hindu mythology can also be found here. It is the month of May and we could already see about hundreds of people already setting up their camps here waiting for the right time to look for these herbs.
