she’d refused the private jet that her father had offered her — she was grateful for the luxurious lifestyle that her father offered her, simply by being joseph pulitzer, owner of the new york sun, but it could be OVERWHELMING at times. not to mention, it was only a short flight from D.C. back to New York; a little over an hour at most. a welcome hour for her to collect her thoughts, to polish up her report before it was due tomorrow, to people watch, or just simply to rest.
they had barely began the process of takeoff ( the far too long process of takeoff, in her opinion ) when she noticed the far too jittery man next to her. it always surprised her how people could be this nervous about flying — the thrill of being up in the air was always exhilarating; being able to look out the window and see the views that it offered. especially flying home — it was always a nice way to reflect on the past adventure, and being greeted by the bright lights of new york was always a treat.
