i'm so happy to see someone feels the same as me. it just feels so,,, wrong. it might be bc i prefer pharmercy and genyatta but still?? it just feels off and sort of wrong bc she was his doctor and all that. hope you don't mind me replying i'm just relieved to see i'm not the only one
i’m actually really glad you replied cause it makes me feel better that i’m not alone in this sentiment
it’s hard because all mercy ships have that “but she’s their doctor!” thing behind it, which has basis, but this one in particular just comes off as (i don’t want to say fucked up) really off-putting since this relationship would’ve been born out of guilt, giri-ninjo [debt of honor even until death], and overwatch’s manipulation
i’m all about letting people ship what they want and enjoy what they want. i’m just some dude with a blog, i can’t do shit to stop you and i don’t want to cause why would i stop you from doing something you love? but at the same time i’d be really disappointed if blizzard confirmed anything between them (mostly coming from a writing standpoint [cause you know me i live for writing] cause they did literally fuck all to build that up in game)
i’m rambling again i’m sorry i just don’t really know how to process what i’m feeling right now nor do i really know where this sudden wave of feeling came from
