Luca was camped out in a corner of the lobby waiting for Colette. They’d agreed to dinner tonight after she was done with work, and he was a little early, because his last appointment had cancelled, and he decided to just come straight here rather than up to his studio. He didn’t want to get any paint on his clothes. He was sketching, a bird that had been sitting on the windowsill, when he heard someone sit across from him.
Must be a tribute, he thought to himself when he noticed how young she was. “Hello” he smiled. “This your first time at the tower?”
