Luca was watching from one of the viewing rooms. He’d wanted to stay at the studio, just watch from the corner of his eye as he sketched, but he’d been asked to come here for a meeting about sponsor funds, and then when he got here, the meeting was delayed, so here he was, leaning over a blank tissue paper with his pencil, trying to busy himself so he didn’t have to watch the gore. “This is new, right? The teams?”

Abel had watched the launch with Hyacinth, he almost cried when he noticed the snow melting because he didn’t think either of his two could swim. There wasn’t much swimming in nine. He bit on his nails as he watched them make it through the launch, feeling like he could do with one of the oxygen masks himself right about now. 

He’d pulled himself away long enough to grab a coffee, sneakily pouring a swig of whiskey into it before closing the lid and making his way to one of the many viewing rooms. He’d entered, noticed Kai and almost turned back around. They hadn’t spoke much really, and if something were to happen to one of his, he didn’t want to cry in front of a stranger. He pushed through though, something on screen catching his attention. “Hey” he smiled, sipping on his coffee. “Looks like your two made it this far, that’s good”

Abel had been crying all morning. His eyes bloodshot and heavy as Satchel helped him into his suit. They tried to touch his face up with some concealer but it was no use, so even with the amazing work Satchel had done, Abel felt like a sad sack as he sat at the bar, not in any mood to party. Lucius was dead. And it was his fault again. At least he blamed himself, for not acting quicker, for holding out to send him something, a weapon, anything, that he could have used to defend himself. He was dead, again, and Abel would have to live with his face haunting his every move.

He turned then, when he felt a body come up beside him, and tipped his glass to say hello. “Red and blue look fucking awful together, don’t they?” He commented, his words slightly slurred as he took in the room with most dressing to show their loyalty to one team or another.

Kai whistle to himself while walking out of his English class. It may not be apart of his major but he understand why this class is needed. Especially because this class seems to be helping with his grammar. He notice a familiar face and runs up to them. “Hey, how did you do on yesterday's test?” He ask with a small grin before adding, “I’m surprised that I did better than last time.”
