❛ OKAY , MOM — are you gonna tuck me in too ? ❜ the sarcasm that coated robin's reply was warm , dripping with honey rather than venom. affectionate gaze landed on chrissy , who presently occupied the spot on the floor beside her. it was supposed to be a girl's night ( something which , until now , robin had never experienced before ) , complete with face masks and manicures and virgin piña coladas and talking late in the night about their problems. how were they supposed to do that if they turned in before the party started ?! ❛ i thought this whole sleepover thing was supposed to be , like ... i don't know , fun ? you haven't even painted my nails yet ! ❜ to further illustrate her point , she lightly shook the bottle of baby pink polish in her friend's face. ❛ besides , sleep is for the dead , and i don't plan on dying for at least another ten years. ❜

he  had  been  watching  her  mouth  form  words  for  some  time  now,  brown  eyes  glued  to  𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐲  𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤  𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬  as  beautiful,  pearlescent  white  teeth  poking  out  here  and  there.  the  way  her  tongue  moved  as  she  continued  to  ramble,  the  way  she  often  times  would  when  overly  excited  or  even  stressed  out  ;  he  knew  it was  𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞  𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡  𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥  𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞  𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐬  beneath  palid,  porcelain  skin  and  it  made  his  mouth  water.  as  he  shifted  where  he  leaned  across  a  grey  brick  wall,  covered  in  graffiti,  moss  and  water  droplets  leftover  from  the  rain  storm  that  raged  the  night  previous  ;  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬  𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝  as  the  itch  to  reach  out  and  pull  her  close  to  silence  her  adorable  little  ramblings  began  to  take  over  his  every  fiber  of  his  being.

he  continued  to  fight  the  urge  as  she  seemingly  caught  her  breath,  his  eyes  immediately  flickering  up  from  her  lips  and  making  purchase  on  her  𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲  𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫  𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞  𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬  ;  the  color  akin  to  that  of  deep  water  such  as  a  river  or  lake  ——  he  felt  absolutely  enchanted  by  them,  by  her.  wetting  his  lips  with  the  dart  of  his  tongue,  he  slowly  pushed  off  of  the  wall  with  the  bootclad  foot  that  had  resided  against  it  just  moments  before,  hurriedly  closing  the  distance  between  the  two  of  them.  a  ringed  hand  laid  against  the  area  between  her  jaw  and  the  base  of  her  neck,  her  blonde  hair  amusingly  wrapped  around  his  thumb  as  he  had  placed  it  upon  her  skin  in  a  𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡  𝐨𝐟  𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞  𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡  𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟  at  having  fought  the  impulse  for  as  long  as  he  had.

without  giving  her  much  of  a  chance  to  realize  what  he  was  doing,  he  placed  his  lips  against  hers  feverishly,  the  perfume  of  her  skin  enveloping  his  sense  of  smell  and  causing  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧  𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞  𝐨𝐟  𝐡𝐢𝐦  𝐭𝐨  𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧  against  the  very  little  human  part  of  him  that  was  left  within.  the  kiss  lasted  a  good  solid  minute  before  he  had  pulled  away,  his  once  cocoa  brown  eyes  now  a  vampiric  shade  of  marigold,  he  let  a  content  smile  cover  his  face  before  pulling  himself  away  from  her  intoxicating  scent.

❝  sorry  for  the  interuption.  you  were  saying?  ❞  he  asked  calmly,  his  hand  not  having  yet  left  her  skin,  the  thing  inside  of  him  𝐧𝐨𝐭  𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐭𝐨  𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞  𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭  in  fear  that  it  may  decide  to  come  out  and  play  ——  likely  placing  anyone  besides  her  in  danger  and  causing  attention  being  drawn  to  them,  something  nobody  would  want.
