I made an Avatar: Legends rpg character
But now I’m thinking about how she would do in a fanfiction.
Here’s the jist:
Riko is in prison. Because she was a chi-blocking equalist. She was raised through her teen years to be one of the best anti-bending weapons in the Revolution, but a kernel of doubt that started at the Revelation became her downfall when she was ordered to capture the airbenders and deliver them to Amon. She said no to the man who raised her and trained her. And she was taken out and left behind.
Behind bars, she feels remorse and regret. Relief that the Avatar was able to reverse Amon’s work. And resigned to spend the rest of her life atoning for her crimes.
And two weeks after the Harmonic Convergence, she airbends.
So, what happens next? According to my partner/GM, she gets thrown into a suicide squad type gang to chase after the Red Lotus but I think in fanfiction her path would look a lot different. Could be fun.
