Easy Chicken Potstickers Pan Fried Dumplings Recipe
These Easy Chicken Potstickers with Soy Dipping Sauce are a delicious and satisfying appetizer or snack. Filled with a flavorful mixture of ground chicken, napa cabbage, garlic, ginger, and green onions, these potstickers are pan-fried to perfection and served with a savory soy dipping sauce.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground chicken. 2 cups finely chopped napa cabbage. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon minced ginger. 2 green onions, finely chopped. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. 1 package round dumpling wrappers. 1/4 cup water. 1/4 cup soy sauce for dipping sauce. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar for dipping sauce. 1 teaspoon sesame oil for dipping sauce. 1 teaspoon sugar for dipping sauce.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped napa cabbage, minced garlic, minced ginger, and finely chopped green onions. In a separate small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce and 2 tablespoons sesame oil. Pour this mixture into the chicken mixture and stir until well combined. Place a dumpling wrapper in your hand and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling into the center. Dip your finger in water and run it around the edge of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half, creating a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal it shut. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potstickers in a single layer, flat side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to low and steam the potstickers for 5-7 minutes, or until the wrappers are translucent and the chicken is cooked through. While the potstickers are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon sugar in a small bowl. Once the potstickers are done, remove them from the skillet and serve hot with the soy dipping sauce.

We started our meal with some soft white and brown bread (not pictured but still warm and yummy) and then got some appetizers to share. The cheeseburger egg rolls were new and came with a sriracha mayo dip. The other two are chicken potstickers and samosas!
