Anime, Aesthetics, and the Last Stand Against Chores 🍿✨

The momentum is real today. The mountain of laundry has officially been conquered, folded, and put away. To reward myself for being an absolute powerhouse of productivity, I took a mandatory intermission to sit down, unwind, and knock out an episode of anime. There is truly nothing better than that post-chore relaxation where you can just completely zone into a good story without a voice in the back of your head whispering about your to-do list.

But the day isn't completely done yet.

The main objectives have been secured, the brain breaks have been taken, and now I’m standing at the finish line. I have exactly one final chore left to knock out before I can officially call it a wrap and retire for the evening.

Instead of letting the post-anime cozy vibes trick me into melting into the couch for the rest of the night, I’m channeling that main-character energy to power through the very last task. Keeping the momentum going until the job is 100% finished.

My current method to try and get chores done as well as create some form of structure now that uni is done and I'm not really doing any extra shifts is one of those random name wheels. One for chores, one for hobbies/activities I wanna do, so I don't waste time trying to decide what to do. I have an alarm that goes off at 2 to get me to do a chore and then an alarm an hour later once I've made decent progress to do an activity 😌 so I have something to look forward to and also to create a sense of urgency cus an hour is both no time at all and too much time, to help with that 'ah I don't know where to start' procrastinating

#ace is a mess #Adulting #chores #hobbies #today's combo was 'organise the guest/craft room' which was a disaster and 'make a moodboard'#imma go look at Pinterest now for ideas but honestly that was probably the fastest and most efficiently I've ever tackled the craft room #is it done? no not really but its actually liveable now not entirely guest ready but that's fine we're safe from that possibility rn #technically the chore wheel said laundry first but uhh I've got stuff in the washing machine rn so I cannot put a load on #but I stripped the guest bed so I guess I'll be doing that later now anyway #I'm not gonna lie I could just turn the alarms off it's not fool proof #and the chore wheel is just for nondaily chores that fall by the wayside like reorganising rooms and folding laundry but it can be tailored

I can do any chore besides dishes. For what, for why? Also, planned on posting at least once everyday and almost immediately did not post for two days. But I will survive.
