Guardians of the Galaxy Dir. James Gunn (2014)
Review:
Story: I am not a fan of superhero movies but this is amazing. I watched this movie because I am a huge fan of Chris Pratt and I feel in love. The adventure that the characters take and the friendship that they form along the way is comedic and well-written. I love each character of the film and I find this superhero movie to be a lot different than the normal superman, iron man, captain america etc..
Acting: I have never seen Dave Bautista act before but now that I have I can’t wait to see what he is doing in the future. Zoe Saldana of course is beautiful and kicks ass like always. Karen Gillan is also badass and stunning in this film. Pratt and Bradley Cooper are so funny and my favorite ones in the film along with Vin Diesel who says the same line again and again.
Editing: The editing and special effects in this film are so colorful and bright. I think it helps keep the comedic edge as they tell the story.
Costume: Bautista and Gillan have the coolest costumes. I watched videos of them getting their makeup done and it couldn’t be more beautiful. Literally each character, even the minor ones, have an intricate costume.
Would I recommend? Yes. The best superhero movie and it is perfect for music lovers as well.
Overall Thoughts: 9/10 One of my favorite movies of all time. Excellent everything.
