Good Friday
Though this isn’t a “good” day, we remember the horrible death our Lord had to suffer to save us—that’s exactly why we call it GOOD Friday. Because He died for us, He was humble and obedient, even to the point of death—death on the cross. Knowing we were sinners who were going to continue to sin, He died for us. Knowing some didn’t and some wouldn’t believe in Him, He died for all of us. Every single soul. His love and forgiveness know no bounds. Nor death nor grave nor evil nor darkness could stop Him. He defeated [them]. He’s our SAVIOR who rose on the third day and sits on the right-hand side of our GOD! And GOD so loved the whole world--all of us sinners, that HE gave His One-and-Only-begotten Son as a sacrifice to redeem us from our sins. (John 3:16)
By His wounds, we are healed. His love ran red washing our sins white. (Isaiah 53:5)
This is the Greatest Love Story of all time. Our God IS thee greatest love.
