TIL that "Chuck Taylor's" are Converse shoes. Literally the same.
I'm thinking that ppl who use the term Chuck Taylor's to talk about these shoes (based completely upon the people I have met who do) are hipster jerkbags. THAT BEING SAID, these shoes are customisable and I had fun for like 30 minutes today. I put insects all over them, made them crazy colours, embroidery all over it. Can't afford [or want to pay] $85 USD for them, so I bought some white high-top canvas shoes that resemble them from Ham of Zon, some dyke shoelaces, and gold star patches to iron on.
I'll just draw all over them with Sharpies when they arrive :D
